Bob's Red Mill

The Safe and Sound Dinner series was designed to be a town square for Chicago’s food allergy community. Members gather at Chicagoland’s hottest restaurant and sample the finest in allergen-free dining. We’ll also discover how to safely cook, dine and shop.

We understand that those with food allergies face challenges each and every day.  Our belief is that you can achieve more peace of mind by tapping into our community’s vast knowledge. Because everyone has something to teach, even the most seasoned allergenista will learn something!

Each Safe and Sound Dinner guest will enjoy:

  • A menu that gives diners the opportunity to savor allergen-free fare from some of Chicago’s most popular restaurants, like Carnivale, Da Luciano and BOKA;
  • An opportunity to meet the restaurant’s chef and learn how a kitchen can be transformed into a  successful allergen-free operation;
  • A gift bag stuffed with tasty, allergen-free treats from the finest names in the business, such as Whole Foods, Peanut Free Planet, Bob’s Red Mill, Cherrybrook Kitchens and lots more!

To attend a Safe and Sound Dinner, you must first become a member.  There’s no cost to join and it only takes a minute to register.  We will never share your information with a third party.  We encourage you to invite your friends and family to become members!

Members will be the first to know about all upcoming Safe and Sound Dinners and can purchase tickets online.

Remember, we can all learn together!
